Blogging Ideas for Educational Leaders - EDLD 5301

I wonder…how might educational leaders use blogs? 

There's a great idea right there!  What a great way to pose a “wondering” or to survey teachers about a particular hot topic.  Blogs are also a great way for instructional leaders to disseminate information, to share resources or to connect with your staff if you are out of the building for an extended period of time.  I can see blogs being used as a valuable tool for feedback or to make a fun announcement to let everyone know Ms. Simmons had her baby and his name is Grant!  It would be a great way to post announcements of upcoming events, to show pictures of the spelling bee awards or to share pictures from your much needed summer vacation!
